Chef Matthew Thompson is a Certified ServSafe Food Protection Manager Instructor and registered ServSafe Exam Proctor. This course emphasizes that comprehensive food safety training is part of a successful food safety management system. Staff members trained in food safety can help raise the quality of their operations, lower costs and increase profitability. Most important, staff members who follow the correct food safety procedures and make sound decisions can help keep their customers safe.

Candidates for the ServSafe Certification can complete training in several ways. Requirements change from state to state, so please review your local requirements. An outline is below:

  • Classroom Training (review available dates below)
  • Re-certification Training (8 hour class required)

After training is complete, you must register with a certified exam proctor to take the exam. If you are interested in enrolling in a training program or are in need of a proctor for your exam, please enter your information below.
